  6. What This Diskette Does
  7. -----------------------

  9.   Note:  This diskette was named Video Capture Driver II for OS/2
  10.          in the previous version.  The new name is
  11.          "MPEG/Video Capture Driver II for OS/2."

  14. The accompanying Video Capture Driver Diskette enables and updates the
  15. video capture/overlay function in the ThinkPad system.
  16.  
  17. Only the ThinkPad 760ED is supported.

  20. refer to "Summary of Changed and Fixed Items".

  58. Installation Guide
  59. ------------------
  60. Notes:
  61.    - Use this driver diskette only for the ThinkPad 760ED.
  62.    - Before installing, make sure that you have installed
  63.      the following software in the computer:
  64.         - ThinkPad Display Device Driver for OS/2 Warp
  65.           (IBM ThinkPad Video Features Diskette II for OS/2
  66.            Version 1.10)
  67.         - Mwave DSP support software
  68.         - Video IN Recorder (in the OS/2 Warp BonusPak)
  69.         - MMPM/2 MPEG Update Diskette for OS/2 Version 1.20
  70.           (This was named MPEG Features Diskette II for OS/2)

  72.  1. Start OS/2 Warp.

  74.  2. Open the Multimedia folder from the desktop, and click on
  75.     Multimedia Application Install.
  76.  
  77.  3. Insert the MPEG/Video Capture Driver II for OS/2 diskette
  78.     into the diskette drive.
  79.  
  80.  4. Specify which diskette drive you are installing from.

  82.  5. Select both Trident Video Capture and ThinkPad MPEG
  83.     Features II.

  85.  6. Click on Install.
  86.      You see the following message in the dialog box:
  87.      "Specify the total number of this
  88.       type of device in your machine:"
  89.      "Trident Video Capture"

  91.  7. When you see "1" as the number of the device,
  92.      select OK. (Do not change the number of the device.)

  94.  8. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  95.      You see the following message in the dialog box.
  96.      "Specify the total number of this
  97.       type of device in your machine:"
  98.      "IBM MPEG Enhanced"

  100.  9. When you see "1" as the number of device,
  101.      select OK. (Do not change the number of device.)
