  1. THIS DIRECTORY
  2.   Files that can be used to modify Eudora's behavior.
  3.  
  4. FILES:
  5.  
  6. 1%hex.hqx:
  7.   Sets the attachment detection threshhold to 1%.  Use this if you find
  8.   that Eudora is not converting BinHex files that use a lot of run-length
  9.   encoding.
  10. 2min-recv.hqx:
  11.   Sets the timeout for receiving responses from servers to two minutes.
  12. 3min-open.hqx:
  13.   Sets the open connection timeout to 3 minutes.
  14. 90margins.hqx:
  15.   Makes Eudora keep its windows 90 pixels from the right & bottom edge
  16.   of your display (handy to keep rows of icons visible).
  17. 934-forward.hqx:
  18.   Makes Eudora do RFC 934-style forwarding.
  19. POPSend.hqx:
  20.   (This file must be converted with BinHex 4.0)
  21. apop.hqx:
  22.   Makes Eudora use the APOP authentication protocol.
  23. log_trans.hqx:
  24.   (This file must be converted with BinHex 4.0)
  25. no-stream.hqx:
  26.   (This file must be converted with BinHex 4.0)
  27. nq-charset.hqx:
  28.   Stops Eudora from quoting MIME charset parameters.  Useful for
  29.   communicating with certain broken UNIX mailers.
  30. osl.hqx:
  31.   The ObjectSupportLib shared library for Power Macintosh systems.
  32.   This is not really a plug-in, but a system extension.  Put it
  33.   in your Extensions folder.
  34. plus-minus.hqx:
  35.   Changes Eudora's priority icons to ++, +, nothing, -, and --.
  36. trans+nav.hqx:
  37.   Turns on detailed logging of connections, for debugging purposes.
  38. turbo-scroll.hqx:
  39.   Sets Eudora's scrolling throttle as high as it will go; makes Eudora
  40.   scroll much faster.

  42. HOW TO USE PLUG-INS
  43.  
  44. Put them in your Eudora Folder or your system Preferences folder before
  45. you start Eudora.  If you use a lot of them, you may wish to consider
  46. using ResEdit to combine them all into one file; this will save a little
  47. memory.
  48.
