  59. inform people everywhere by efficiently distributing information about
  60. Canadian firearm laws, regulations, and other related issues.
  61. Cdn-firearms-digest and cdn-firearms-alert are moderated to
  62. 1) avoid the bickering and arguments that are seen elsewhere, and
  63. 2) provide a source of information of particular interest and
  64. relevance to persons in Canada.

  66. Discussions are allowed on cdn-firearms-digest but "flames" will not be
  67. forwarded to subscribers.  A wide variety of opinions are published
  68. through cdn-firearms-digest to allow free expression of thought and
  69. encourage open debate, but submissions may be redacted (for accuracy,
  70. length, etc.) without consulting the author.  (A note will appear at
  71. the beginning of the article when major changes have been made.)

  74. The best submissions to cdn-firearms-digest are also forwarded to
  75. cdn-firearms-alert.  These posts are normally strictly informational.

  78. don't need cdn-firearms-alert, although message will be delivered
