  1. Utilities to save a diskette to and load a diskette from, a file
  2. ----------------------------------------------------------------

  5. SAVEDSKF.EXE and LOADDSKF.EXE are a pair of utilities to save a
  6. diskette to a file and vice-versa.  SAVEDSKF.EXE can be used to
  7. capture an image of a diskette into a file.  The file can then be
  8. electronically transported and be reconstructed into the original
  9. diskette by using LOADDSKF.EXE. Data compression is used and only
  10. the data neccessary to reconstruct the used portion of the
  11. diskette is stored.  If you choose, you may include a text
  12. description of the diskette to be included in the diskette image
  13. file.

  15. Use PKUNZIP to unpack the file.  See LOADDF.DOC for instructions
  16. on how to use these utilities.

  18. This set of utility programs will run on a wide variety of operating
  19. systems.  DOS 3.3 or later; OS/2 1.x; and OS/2 2.x.i

  21. Most all disk image files downloaded from the OS2BBS are stored in
  22. a file using SAVEDSKF format.  You need LOADDSKF to create diskettes
  23. from these files.
