  4. This readme file contains information on how to install the IBM Thinkpad 760ED
  5. Trident 9358 and MPEG device driver.   This OS/2 driver supports video capturing
  6. and MPEG motion videos playback.

  17. 1.0 System Requirements
  18.  
  19.     Before you install the Trident 9385 and MPEG Enhanced device driver, make sure that you have:
  20.  
  21.         a) installed OS/2 WARP Version 4.0
  22.         b) 12 MB of system memory or up
  23.         c) 2 MB of hard disk space
  24.         d) install Thinkpad System Management Device Driver
  25.         e) install Thinkpad Utility
  26.         f) install Trident display driver
  27.         g) install MWAVE driver

  29. 2.0 PRELIMINARY STEPS
  30.  
  31.     a) Back up orginal CONFIG.SYS and MMPM2.INI file from your system in case
  32.        problem occurs.
  33.  
  34. 3.0 INSTALLATION
  35.  
  36.     1) Unzip the TRIMPEGE.ZIP into any directory.
  37.     2) Type 'MINSTALL' to install the driver.
  38.     3) Follow panel instructions to complete installation.
  39.     4) After installation is completed, shutdown the system and reboot.
  40.        Note: The installation adds the following statements to your config.sys file.
  41.        For example:
  42.            DEVICE=D:\MMOS2\TRIDVC.SYS
  43.            DEVICE=D:\MMOS2\IBMMPEGE.SYS
  44.                where D is any drive
