  5. The AdvanSys ASC.ADD will work with the ABP-5150 and the HP 4020i CD-R
  6. shipped with the HP SureStore. However the OS2CDROM.DMD shipped by IBM
  7. for OS/2 does not support all features of the HP 4020i.

  9. To add the AdvanSys ASC.ADD and IBM OS2CDROM.DMD to OS/2 add the following
  10. lines to the end of your CONFIG.SYS file:

  12. DEVICE=OS2CDROM.DMD /Q
  13. BASEDEV=ASC.ADD /V
  14.  
  15. After adding ASC.ADD to the system, adding the lines to CONFIG.SYS, and
  16. rebooting a CD-ROM icon for the HP 4020i should appear in the Drives folder.

  18. There is a modified OS2CDROM.DMD that supports multi-session and digital
  19. audio transfer. The TXT file that comes with it also explains how to install
  20. the HP SureStore software under Win-OS/2. The driver was built by an
  21. engineer from HP. No support is provided for the OS2CDROM.DMD by HP, but
  22. the engineer who built it has included his e-mail address in the TXT file
  23. for any comments or questions.

  27. There are also two CD-R software packages that support OS/2. AdvanSys
  28. does not make any recommendations about these products, but we are happy
  29. to make this information available. If you know of any other packages for
