  8. Delivery Agent is compatible with Windows 95/98/ME NT/2000/XP.
  9.  
  10. 95/98 Users: If you have a brand new OS installation please visit
  11. the Windows Update site and install the latest updates from
  12. Microsoft. Our apps use versions of some windows OS dlls that were
  13. updated by Microsoft from the original releases of 95 & 98.

  15. NT 4 Users: Although not absolutely required, we suggest you have
  16. SP 6 installed.
  17.  
  18. To install Delivery Agent, follow the instructions below. 
  19.  
  20. We prefer you install via our self-installer because the installer
  21. sets up an uninstall function in Control Panel, Add-Remove
  22. Programs. If you prefer a zip file you can download one from our
  23. web site. Visit http://www.searchandreplace.com/delivery_agent.htm
  24. for a download link.

  26. See 'FileList.txt' for a description of the files installed. All
  27. files are put in the path of your choice. c:\tools\DelAgent is the
  28. suggested but you can change this if you like.

  32. Installation Instructions for Windows 95/98/ME NT/2000/XP
  33. ----------------------------------------------------------

  35. 1. Unzip the contents of the archive into a temporary subdirectory.
  36.  
  37. 2. Run 'setupda.exe' to install the program. The installer will
  38. prompt you for the path to install to. C:\Tools\DelAgent is the
  39. suggested default but you can use any path you wish.

  41. 3. Delete the temporary files from this zip.

  44. Uninstall Instructions

  47. 1. Close Delivery Agent if it is running.
  48.  
  49. 2. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
  50.  
  51. 3. Scroll down until you see 'Delivery Agent'.

  53. 4. Click on the Add/Remove button.
