I ran across the neatest utility...
Tbar simply changed the pattern in the workbench windows. It was very
nice to now be able to look at something other than "those-two-lines."
One problem with tbar is that is has a complicated drawing process which
is not documented. So I decided to make a nice little utility to let
me draw them, taking out the pain of converting to hex and typing those
numbers into CLI without messing up.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Just draw the picture you want. Note the boxes are scroll keys, and that
the pattern will be tiled across the screen. Save it, remembering
to enter a correct path with filename. I suggest saving as ram:xx.tbar.
When you are done making 5 or 6 patterns, quit. Now all you have to do
to see your drawing is Execute ram:xx.tbar. If you have WB1.3 then you
can make them auto-script in a shell with Protect ram:#?.tbar +s....
If you want, just merge it into your startup script. Simple and no
more hassle of typing in all those numbers.... Phil Dietz
