STOS TO AMOS
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The transfer program
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This PD allows you to read sprites from a standard Atari ST disc onto
a standard Amiga RAM disc, full instructions for the transfer program
can be found in the MSDOS/Read.me file. Just one word of warning
before you use the program, when transfering files remember to leave
the mouse alone, moving it corrupts the incoming file.
The sprite converter
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once you have ported sprites across from the Atari ST you will have to
run them through this program in order for AMOS to understand them. To
use it all you have to do is click on the file you wish to convert and
watch the program do it's stuff, simple huh?
The sample bank maker
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the same program that is contained on the AMOS data disc, it
has been placed on this disc for your convenience.
The Degas/Neo to IFF converter
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This program is a bit of a cheat actually, it is in STOS format so you
will have to port it over to the ST using Cross Dos or a similar utility.
The reason for this is because STOS already has a command to load Degas
and Neochrome pictures. Soon we hope to update this disc to include an
AMOS utility that will allow you to do this nice job, but for now the
STOS program can be found in the folder - "STOS_Iff_Converter".
Have fun,
Peter Hickman.
