- WELCOME TO TURRICAN
-
- Another day...
- ...another try
-
- But remember: SHOOT OR DIE!
-
-
- Rainbow Arts proudly presents:
-
- The first demo-version of TURRICAN, Rainbow Arts newest title and the
- hottest action-game ever!
-
- This demo is COMPLETELY playable, but of course contains only a small
- subset of the final game. The levels you see here are only three of 13! The
- levels are spread over five different "worlds", each one with unique
- graphics. Each level will have its own music, special aliens and lots of
- surprises.
-
-
-
- *** Turrican will be available in Europe sometime in May. ***
-
- Controls: Joystick controls player, fire fires a shot. Keep button
- pressed and move the joystick for "Mega-Flash". Duck (Joystick down) and
- press space for Gyroscope. Press space for the "Line"-Shot. Alt/Amiga
- (both sides, any of the four keys) for the Smartbomb. Duck and fire for
- Landmines. Instead of the spacebar you can also use a two-button-joystick.
-
- Shoot small aliens and collect extra weapons and power. Or look out for
- the many hidden blocks and bonus-rooms. Take as many diamonds as you want
- - in the final game they will be worth collecting. Look out for the time
- limit when you start searching for the exit - and be aware that those
- levels are REALLY HUGE! Don´t attempt to draw a map though - you´ll need
- more paper then to cover your whole room for the complete game!
-
-
-
- Other things the final game will feature that are not in the demo:
-
- * Character-Animation (falling waterfalls, moving spikes and traps, etc.)
- * Fabulous intro
- * Even more sound
- * Particle-implosion-system for the main sprite
- (don´t ask us, just wait for the final game...)
