  4.     The SMUS player on this disk is a revised version of the one
  5. originally presented on Fred Fish Disk #58. Besides just plain soundin'
  6. better, its syntax is a little more easy to use. As always, this SMUS
  7. player is not necessarily the most current version. Call or write for
  8. more information.

  10. EXAMPLE USAGE
  11. -------------

  13.     Version 3.6 differs from previous versions in that the instrument
  14. pathname is explicit. In other words, the string "/Instruments" is no longer
  15. postpended to the instrument pathname, while no instrument pathname will
  16. look for instruments in the "Instruments" subdirectory in the current path.

  18.     Example :

  20.     smus3.6a play_me :smusplayers/instruments
  21.         smus3.6a play_me
  22.  
  23.     Both of the examples will play the SMUS file "play_me" in the
  24. current directory with the instruments in the Instruments directory. Since
  25. Electronic Arts copyrights their instruments, you must provide the instrument
  26. (accordion) and place it in the instrument directory to play the sample song.

  29. drivers are available for licensing to commercial developers. The author
