MAILSHOT - Review Comments
'Easy to use .. extremely fast .. excellent value. Because the program
is called Mailshot you might think that it can only be used for long
mailing lists but it can just as easily be used for labelling discs,
schoolbooks, membership cards, photographs, bottles of wine, video
tapes, and much more. It could end up as one of the most used programs
you buy !'
Les Ellingham, Page 6 Magazine

MAILSHOT - Operating Notes
To select a menu option, simply use the up and down cursor keys to
highlight the option required, and press RETURN. Alternatively, press
the appropriate key corresponding to the first letter of the menu
option (eg A to Add).
Please Note: The mouse version of Mailshot is not provided on this
demonstration, although it is included when you purchase the program.
Markers: You have 4 Markers, assigned to function keys 1-4. By setting
say, Marker 1 onto the surname of each address when adding or editing
labels, you can then use this to perform surname sorting.
When sorting (ORDER), enter the line or Marker number (eg L4, M4) and
then select ORDER from the Exit line.
When searching, firstly select where you wish to search:
ANY - look on every line
L + Line number - look on specified line
M + Marker number - look on specified Marker
Then the condition:
= - equal
# - not equal
< - less than
<= - less than or equal
> - greater than
>= - greater than or equal
=clash - detect duplicate labels
Then finally, the requirement (eg Smith)
Putting this together, an example might be:
L3 = Devon, M1 # Smith, ANY <= 24
You may also link several search criteria by using AND, OR, NOT
(enclose all separate search criteria in brackets).
Generally, remember to leave one space between each section of the
search.
The Editor:
When entering and editing labels, an editor is provided. The
facilities are:
RETURN - moves to beginning of next line
DELETE LEFT - delete left
CTRL D or DEL - delete right
CTRL R - remove whole line
CTRL I, TAB or INS - insert a space
CTRL A - add a new line
ESCAPE or ESC - leave current label and return to main menu
MAILSHOT PLUS - Review Comments
'It took me less than half an hour to realise the full potential of
this program. Genuinely easy to use. This program would be equally
useful to the Membership Secretary of a club, charity organisations
.. personnel records, chemists' labels, book, record or photograph
labels or, on the domestic front, Christmas card labels, and so on.
I have no hestitation in recommending this program to anyone who needs
a simple to use but very effective direct mailing system, which is
very powerful and flexible, and should suit a wide variety of needs in
the office or in the home. '

HOME ACCOUNTS - Review Comments
'Home Accounts is produced by Digita International who have developed
a reputation for producing no-nonsense products at very good prices.
You might even say cheap prices but that would do the product itself
an injustice as it is far from a 'cheap' program. My overall
impression of this program was one of quality. It is easy to use and
performs the job that a spreadsheet could be programmed to do without
anyof the headaches that can bring. Excellent value for money!'.

This is essential for the program to function correctly.
Select option ACCOUNT - NEW, and enter details of account(s) as
prompted (income accounts - eg bank, credit card, etc). It is
essential that a two character code is used. Accounts in use will be
