  1. Someone suggested that a set of .dvi PK fonts be uploaded to the archive
  2. servers that wasn't in ARC form, but rather was a zoo archive complete
  3. with with the paths and folders intact.  This saves the trouble of
  4. having to unarc a bunch of fonts from a UNIX system with names like
  5.   cmr10.300pk and move and rename them to Atari conventions like:

  7. /fonts/cmr10/300pk 
  8.  
  9. (which is what I had to do to create the fonts folder this zoo arc
  10. came from :-(

  12. There are two zoo files  to the complete set of fonts:
  13. dvifnts1.zoo and dvifnts2.zoo
  14.  
  15. I think there should be a total of 72 folders, many which have more than
  16. one mag size in them.

  18. This is a complete (I think) set of the fonts for the dvist3_3 previewer
  19. plus a fairly complete set of 300dpi fonts for use with the DVIDSK 
  20. DeskJet driver I recently uploaded (thanks again JRD for the help :-) !!)

  22. you will need zoo.ttp to unarc these (I don't know if Booz can handle the 
  23. creation of the font folders?)

  25. from your shell (I can only get my copy of zoo to behave correctly from 
  26. within a shell, like gulam)

  28. zoo.ttp -x// dvifnts1
  29. zoo.ttp -x// dvifnts2
  30.  
  31. this should make all of the font folders and have a complete set of
  32. font files on whatever disk partition you started from.
  33. Remember to point the environment variable TEXFONTS to whatever directory
  34. you place the font files in, I use
  35. f:\fonts\                   
  36. and that is the default that the deskjet driver looks for them in.
