  5. This BETA version of MiNT 0.96 may be distributed only under the following
  6. conditions:

  8. (1) All source code and documentation included in this archive must be
  9.     included, unmodified, in any distribution. In particular, this
  10.     "copying" file and the "readme" file must be included (unmodified).
  11.  
  12. (2) You may, at your option, include additional files, so long as you
  13.     clearly state that those files are your additions to the package
  14.     in some (additional) accompanying documentation.
  15.  
  16. (3) You may not charge more than the equivalent of $5 U.S. for making copies
  17.     of this version of MiNT or any derivatives thereof.
  18.  
  19. (4) You may place this program on bulletin boards or on-line services (even
  20.     those which charge a fee for downloads) but ONLY if you clearly indicate
  21.     that this is an experimental version of MiNT, of interest only to
  22.     programmers, and provided further that no executable version of this
  23.     software is included as an additional file under clause (2). The reason
  24.     for this is simple -- I cannot support this version of MiNT, so I want
  25.     only people who have access to compilers and who are comfortable with
  26.     using source code to download it.

  28. WARNING: This program does some very low level things to your computer.
  29. MiNT works well on my machine, and I trust my data to it. But
  30. then, I make regular backups, so even if a horrible bug in MiNT that
  31. I haven't found yet trashes my hard drive, I won't lose much. You'll
  32. have to decide for yourself about trusting your data to MiNT. I would
  33. certainly recommend regular backups in any event.

  36. MiNT COMES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, NOT EVEN AN IMPLIED WARRANTY
