  1. The download command will transmit the contents of a file.  For instance,
  2. to download the file called "bulletins", type:
  3.  
  4.    D bulletins
  5.  
  6. If a file is in a directory (i.e. if the What command lists its name
  7. followed by a '/'), you must give the directory path for the file, as
  8. well as it's name.  For instance, to download the file "part_01" in the
  9. directory "TUTORIAL", type:
  10.  
  11.    D tutorial/part_01
  12.  
  13. You can abort a download by sending a packet with a ^C (control-C) in
  14. it.  (You may have to use the "pass character", usually ^V, in front of
  15. it in order to send a ^C.)  There will be a few packets in transit that
  16. you will see before the abort takes effect.  All files will have a ^Z
  17. sent at the end of them.
