  1. This is the K5JB version of KA9Q net. It does telnet (client), ftp, smtp, etc
  2. using tcp/ip over either slip or ax.25. This runs as a program (as it does in
  3. UNIX and on dos). It is not part of the kernel.

  5. This archive includes a directory tree necessary to get a no frills version
  6. up and running. My own startup.net file is included, this should be edited
  7. for your site. You need to set the NETHOME, NETSPOOL and TMPDIR env vars
  8. before using NET.

  10. The BM mailer (a simple mailer for net) is also included.
  11. The latest version of the docs are included here also.
  12. This program was compiled on a PT68K4 68000 16 mhz w/ 4 megs of ram using the
  13. MWC 3.2 compiler under OS9-68k v2.4. It should work on any OSK system.
