  4. macutil \- A package that deals with MacIntosh files on a Unix system
  5. .SH DESCRIPTION
  6. .I macutil
  7. is a package that contains a number of utilities that deal with MacIntosh
  8. files on a Unix system.
  9. It contains the following programs:

  11. .B binhex
  12. Convert files to BinHex 4.0 compatible hexified form.
  13. .TP
  14. .B frommac
  15. Receives files from the MacIntosh on the Unix system.
  16. .TP
  17. .B hexbin
  18. Convert hexified files to their MacIntosh format.
  19. .TP
  20. .B macsave
  21. Save a series of files from a MacBinary stream as individual files.
  22. .TP
  23. .B macstream
  24. Combine a series of files to a MacBinary stream.
  25. .TP
  26. .B macunpack
  27. Unpack a MacIntosh archive into its constituents.

  29. .B tomac
  30. Transmits files from the Unix system to a MacIntosh.
