<Down Arrow> - Press the down arrow to move the cursor bar down.
<Space Bar> - Press the spacebar to go to the end of the directory
<Up Arrow> - Press the up arrow key to move the cursor up.
<Backspace> - Press the backspace to go to the start of the dir.
<Enter> - Press the enter key to change to the highlighted
directory.
A - Change file attributes.
The attributes of the currently highlighted file
are shown next to the filename. Supply the new
attributes the way you would for the ATTR command.
e.g. -e -pe -r -pr NOTE: The directory bit will
not be changed. Pressing ENTER or ESC will abort.
Requires OS-9 ATTR command.
C - Copy file
The currently hightlighted file will be copied to
another file, or into another directory. e.g. Copy
filename TO: /DD/SYS or Copy filename TO:
newname. Pressing Enter or ESC will abort.
Requires OS-9 COPY command.
R - Renames the current file to the name you supply.
Pressing ENTER or ESC will abort.
Requires the OS-9 RENAME command.
D - Delete file
Deletes the currently highlighted file or
directory. You will be asked if you are sure!
Pressing ENTER or ESC will abort.
Requires OS-9 DEL and DELDIR command.
N - Log new directory or device
Changes to a new device or directory. Pressing
ENTER or ESC will abort
M - Make directory
Creates a new directory, either in the current
working directory, or on another device. Pressing
ENTER or ESC will abort.
O - Move a file
Removes the currently highlighted file from the
current directory and places it in another
directory on the same device. Pressing ENTER or ESC
will abort.
Requires Lukas Zeller's MOVE utility.
T - Tag a file
Just colours (tags) the currently highlighted
file, or, if already will set it back to the normal
untagged state. Used for multi-file operations in
the Copy, Delete, Move and Attr commands.
L - List file
Lists the currently highlighted file to the screen
in nineteen line pages, waiting for a keypress
between screens. Pressing 'Q' or ESC quits this
function. If the file is an archive, with an ext-
ension of .lzh, .lha, .zoo, .ar, .zip, or .gz its
contents will be listed.
U - Unarchive a file.
Only LZH or LHA archives are supported as yet.
Pressing ESC aborts this function. Press ENTER to
unarchive into the current directory.
Requires Mike Haaland's LHA utility.
H - Help
Lists this help file. Pressing 'Q' or ESC aborts
this function.
Q - Quit
Quits DiskMaster, returning to your original
directory.
S - Clears the screen and gives a shell prompt. Type
'logout' to return to DiskMaster.
Mouse Operation - The mouse will be used if a descriptor '/mouse' is
found. Use the left button to select files or
operations, right button to descend or ascend into
directories. To moove to the next page of filenames
place the mouse on the bottom border, and press the
right mouse button. To go back a page move the
top border and press the right mouse button.
