  7. For those interested, the idea for The High Spot Funky Dancer came to me
  8. from nowhere whilst writing an essay. I don`t remember what it was about
  9. but it was probably not one of my best, after all, if things like that come
  10. into your head it can`t be the most enthraling of subjects to discuss in a
  11. minimum of 5000 words.
  12.  
  13.  I made this on a 2 Meg A500 Plus.  Pencil drawings were digitised with
  14. Vidi Amiga 12, cleaned up in DeluxePaint IV and assembled in MovieSetter.
  15. It requires 2 Megs to run, I think, and takes about 4 minutes to load.
  16. After all the wait, it lasts about 1 minute fifty seconds.

  18.  I have had some problems with booting this on a WB 1.3 A500 and the A1200.
  19. It may just have been memory problems with all the peripherals that were
  20. attached, they weren`t my machines so I couldn`t fiddle about too much, but
  21. it works fine on a WB 2.0 A500 Plus and therefore I would guess on an A600.
  22. If you have a 1.3 A500 or an A1200 and it won`t load from booting use the
  23. workbench option on the disk (which I suppose you probably already have,
  24. else you wouldn`t be reading this) and double-click on the animation`s
  25. icon.  It should now work okay.

  27.  You may notice, or may have already noticed, that the date at the end of
  28. the animation is 1993 not 1994, as it is at the top of this page.  This is
  29. not some incompetent typing error, it`s just that the animation was 
  30. finished late 1993 but sat gathering dust for a month or so before I wrote
  31. this and sent it off.  A small point I know, but I just felt like pointing
  32. it out.

  70.  The `Coming Soon' file on the disk is a brief sample (it couldn`t be more
  71. brief than just a still quarter size picture) of my next animation, well
  72. probably my next animation, logistics and inclination will be the deciding
  73. factors.  The main reason I include it is because there was 20K or so left
  74. on the disk and I thought I might as well fill it, value for money etc. you
  75. know.
