  6. Important: Configfiles and Prefsfiles from Version 2.5 are converted
  7. automatically, but have to be saved manually with "Save" in the EDIT-
  8. Window.

  14. - The mode "WBFront" is now more useful than before, perhaps even more
  15.   useful than "Run". Now, WBFront runs a program and puts the HDClick-
  16.   screen behind all other screens. By pressing the Hotkey, the screen
  17.   pops to the front immediately/very fast. If you have enough memory,
  18.   you should take this one instead of "Run".

  20. - Finally ! I really hated to create batch-files for some programs who
  21.   needed a "CD", a "Current Dir" to find their additional files in
  22.   their drawer. Now, everytime a program is started, the current dir
  23.   is set to the drawer the program is in, so it will find the files.
  24.   It should now be possible to start any programs without having to
  25.   create a batch-file.

  29. - Gadgets can be protected with Passwords. Each Gadget can have its own
  30.   password.
  31.  
  32. - The EDIT-Function also can be protected with a password. This is useful
  33.   for computers that are accessible by the public.

  35. - The HDCLick-Screen can now be opened in three different ways:
  36.  
  37.   -    Normal: The gadget-construction is visible.
  38.   -    Hidden: After the gadgets are drawn, the screen pops to the front.
  39.   - Scroll1&2: The screen scrolls to the top after the gadgets have been
  40.                drawn. Two speeds available.

  42. - The HOTKEY now affects more parts of HDClick, even if Hotkey is not
  43.   selected in the prefs:
  44.  
  45.   - If the HDClick-Screen is not front-most, it pops to the front.
  46.   - Hotkey is also active in the Iconify-Mode "Window".
  47.   - If HDClick is AppIconified, the Hotkey has the same effect as double-
  48.     clicking onto the AppIcon.
  49.   - If the Small-Window is behind other windows, it pops to the front.

  51.   So you can be sure that when you press the Hotkey, HDClick appears
  52.   somehow. You should choose a Hotkey that isn't used by other programs
  53.   of course.

  55. - This belongs to Bugfixes, but it's here anyway: It is now possible to
  56.   set the STACK of a program directly from HDClick. It has been possible to
  57.   define a stack in V2.5, but it didn't really affect the Stack... Now it
  58.   really does.

  60. BUGFIXES:

  63. - There was an error in the EDIT-Window's Startmode-Selection. It happened
  64.   that the MX-Gadgets showed a mode like "run" or "execute", but in reality
  65.   it was the mode "none". So if you clicked on your gadget, nothing happened.
  66.   This was a @#°@#° bug ! I had to search long for it, because it wasn't
  67.   in the Startmode-Gadgets, nor in the Startup-functions, nor the save-
  68.   function, but in some corrupt example-configfiles I had created a while
  69.   ago with an old Beta-Version.

  71. - Thanks to the exact Error-description by Herbert Lottner it's now possible
  72.   to use more than 4 colors in Productivity mode. But now, HDClick doesn't
  73.   test if you select too many colors for a Screenmode.
  74.  
  75. - Some other small bugs which could have been fatal if someone had tested
  76.   HDClick A_LOT are fixed.

  78. Support of the AppIcon or a SmallWindow-Gadget for Non-WB3.0 users

  88. This is possible if you use (WB3.0 only) "Multiview" as the starter-
  89. program in the AppPrefs ("Multiview @").
  90.  
  91. If you haven't got WB3.0 (like me), this can be done with a freely
  92. distributable program named Megaview combined with the Whatis.library
  93. (available e.g. from me or on a Fishdisk). All filetypes can be defined
  94. and the appropriate actions also. It only needs the installation of
  95. Megaview and the entry "Megaview @" in the AppPrefs of HDClick.
