- Introduction...
- -----------------
-
- Copyright Effex is a program for the Video User. What it does is give you a
- combination of effects for you to display your Copyright Notice.
-
- This program is Public Domain.
-
- --------------------
- Getting Started...
- --------------------
-
- All you do is Load in your Copyright Picture (by typing in the IFF Path box)
- and then pick an option for your Effect In and an option for your Effect Out.
-
- Once you've loaded in your Copyright Picture you can start editing your
- Effect, by changing the Wipe effect, Scroll effect, Fade Speed, Scroll Speed,
- etc. As soon as you've set everything to your liking you can then either Play
- your effect or Test your effect. Test and Play are almost the same except
- Test plays your effect at speed - so that you can judge wether to keep the
- effect and PLAY it or set up another effect for TESTing.
-
- There are 11 Scrolls and 52 Wipe effects. The Scrolls are made up of 7 Split
- Screen effects and 4 Direction scrolls.
-
- I`ve put some Gap keys in the program so that you can get from 1 to 999 with
- ease. Just select a Gap value and the keys will have that value.
-
-
- ------------
- Options...
- ------------
-
- Effect In: Wipe - Fade - Show
-
- Effect Out: Wipe - Fade - Clear - Scroll
-
-
- SHOW makes the picture suddenly appear (quickly). CLEAR clears the screen.
- I don't think I need to say anything about the rest!
-

- Picture...
- ------------
-
- If you want to load another picture simply click inside the IFF Path box. If
- your picture is more than 16 colours then Fade (Effect In) will be turned off
- and you will get the SHOW option instead. This program only works with Low
- Resolution pictures at the moment. There is a Test Picture called COP on this
- disk. You'll notice on Some scroll effects that the picture shows two lines
- in the middle of the screen before scrolling, this is where Amos has joined
- the two screens together (which is unavoidable), in this instant it's best to
- use a picture that doesn't have any graphics on the two middle lines - lines
- 127 and 128.
-
- I'll probly update this program in some way at a later stage, but until then
- enjoy the program. If you want to get the best out of this program then
- Experiment by mixing the effects and options.
