  2.                             HOW TO CATCH A CANARY

  4.        Hi! It's me again! I, Anthony Whitaker, have put together for your
  5. viewing leisure a brand new cartoon starring the world's most ferocious
  6. feline, none other than the typically British-born Charley Cat!
  7.  
  8.        This time, however, instead of going out somewhere for the day, as
  9. in Charley Cat: Out In Public and Charley Cat II: Down At The Sea, Charley
  10. has decided to stay at home and have a go at catching his owner's new pet
  11. canary. But does he catch it? Well, you'll have to check this cartoon out
  12. in order to find out.

  14.        Charley himself you may be familiar with if you have seen the other
  15. Charley Cat cartoons, but this cartoon introduces a new character (well,
  16. new to you anyway) - Charley's owner, Jarrod.
  17.  
  18.        Another thing you may notice is the fact that this cartoon contains
  19. dialogue. It is the first Charley Cat cartoon to do so.
  20.  
  21.        I have sheer delight in announcing the fact that this is my longest
  22. cartoon to date (at the time of creation in August 1992). I put it together
  23. with the help of Dpaint and Gold Disk's Moviesetter. The cartoon is approx-
  24. imately 2 minutes 50 seconds long.

  26.        The animation itself requires 3Mb (maybe 2.5Mb provided you only use
  27. one drive). Oh, and two drives are recommended to avoid really heavy disk-
  28. swapping, since this anim covers three disks instead of two.

  30. WARNING: Although the cartoon itself is PD, the characters themselves are
  31.          copyright and may not be used without my permission.

  33.        For the benefit of those who have not seen my other cartoons, I am
  34. 19 years old, I have an Amiga 500 with 5Mb and an external drive. I have
  35. Kickstart 1.3 and no hard drive.
