  8.         I`m  not  really sure where these pictures came from now, it was
  9.     possibly  Wall  Street  BBS  (0482  589796),  because they have this
  10.     HEE-UGE  .GIF  section, and my pal has registered with them, plus he
  11.     calls  from  inside the Hull area where they have this weird "5p for
  12.     ages"  phone-rate,  and  he has a 14.4K modem in his works PC, so it
  13.     seems to add up in his favour.

  15.         I`m sat here at 11:05 pm 4/10/93, and I`ve just watched the show
  16.     complete  with  groovy-toon  for  the first time, so I know it works
  17.     okay,  I`ve  left  the  files  in  GIF format because it`s so damned
  18.     compact when compared to IFF, and I don`t trust JPEG enough, loss of
  19.     quality  and  all  that,  so GIF it is.  This slows down the loading
  20.     somewhat  but at least you get more to a disk, and if you realy want
  21.     to  keep  any of the pics in IFF form, wel you can always go out and
  22.     buy Cloanto`s Excellent "Personal Paint" can`t you ?

  28.     her all that much, but she IS kinda cute, and I DO have lots of time
  29.     to spare, and I ALSO have lots of pictures, plus I guess I`d  better
  30.     do something to justify my position in the group...  ;-)

  33.          Half a dozen  pics of large-breasted females on there, just one
  34.     disk, not bad. I would not say  it`s porn, more arty stuff, and it`s
  35.     no  worse than your usual tacky newspapers, in fact it`s better  cos
  36.     the  colour isn`t  all grainy, not  that i`d know the difference you
  37.     understand...

  42.     might  consider  getting  in touch for swapping, I have loads of AGA
  43.     stuff,  as I`m one of those people who goes the whole hog and hoards
  44.     everything, there was a mad rush to get A1200s around here when they
  45.     were released, I got number 2495, nuff said...

  57.     beginner  or  a  grandmaster, black or white, I really couldn`t care
  58.     less,  all  that  matters  is getting in touch.  Naturally owning an
  59.     A1200  would be a great advantage, but A500/A600 owners are welcome,
  60.     I`ll  bung  you  a  copy  of  "SoftAGA"  which allows you to run AGA
  61.     software on your older machine !

  69.         Lama  sat  and  downloaded the pics, the passes them to Vid, and
  70.     finally  we  spent three hours porting them all to Amiga disks, next
  71.     time I`ll use a bloody link ! 10 disks used altogether.

  75.         For  their  "Personal  Paint",  which which I ruined my eyesight
  76.     when  I  tidied  up  all  10  disks  of  pictures  and saved out the
  77.     interesting  bits  as  GIF  brushes.   WARNING  !!   Staring  at  an
  78.     interlaced screen for 6 hours (!) can make you seriously horny !

  82.         For  writing  Viewtek  v1.04, an okey-dokey viewer with just one
  83.     flaw,  it`s  so  bloody SLOW !  Why not get in touch with that there
  84.     dude  who  wrote  "FastGIF2"  and pinch his routines ?  Actually the
  85.     reason  I  didn`t use that one was because although it was speedy, I
  86.     couldn`t  get  it to play with me (oo-er), so maybe you two ought to
  87.     get together and write a wicked viewer ?

  103.         NFAs new disk mag, "The Dude" should be out pretty soon, its the
  104.     first public release of our internal disk letter, as somebody leaked
  105.     it (I`ve always suspected Deck myself...) and people  started asking
  106.     when the next issue would be out. Um, unfortunately it only works on
  107.     my A1200 at the moment, so I`ll have to sort that out...

  109.         Watch out for Video Manager II coming soon from, er, the guy who
  110.     wrote Video Manager. It`s a  wicked dbase for  your video collection
  111.     that allows  you to store details and search  for/retreive them in a
  112.     fast and efficient manner (I should be a PR Man... ;-).
