  9.    It is 12th century Palestine and the Saracens wait to ambush King Richard
  10.  the Lionheart. The Doctor manages to save Richard and Barbara is kidnapped
  11.  by the Saracens. Ian rescues her but the main plotline of the story involves
  12.  Richard's attempt to end the Holy War by marrying his sister, Joanna, to
  13.  Saladin's brother.
  14.    This story was most notable for the appearance of Shakespearian actor
  15.  Julian Glover in the role of Richard. His acceptance of the role meant that
  16.  the programme gained some value amongst the more established acting set and
  17.  as a result, "name" actors wanted to appear on the show.
