  8. Here are some quick predictions from ECR.
  9. 1. Volcanic eruptions in Wash. state from an existing cone or cones occurring
  10. in March, April or May...Mt. Baker and/or Mt. Ranier.  Volcanic ash in the
  11. atmosphere will be the greatest threat.  Numerous dormant and active
  12. volcanos will fire off this year and at least one new one will be created.

  14. 2.The Indian Ocean earthquake and tidal wave that occured on Dec. 12, '92
  15. were precursors for the third L.A. earth quake and the first California
  16. fracture predicted to occur on or before May 9th 1993.  It was also a sign
  17. of the increased probability of these events. (Notice that these predictions
  18. are all PROBABILITIES, not guarnatees).

  20. 3.If another quake greater than 8.0 occurs in the Indian Ocean region...Sri
  21. Lanka possibly, but not exclusively, then California is predicted to have
  22. super-mega quakes and fractures within days.
  23. 4.  Quakes throughout the Southwest... Quakes with epiccenters in  Colorado,
  24. Nevbada, Arizona during 1993...6.0-7.0 range.

  26. 5. Increased seismic activity in Alaska, off shore...magnitudes of 7.0 or
  27. greater in March and April.   May cause tidal waves that  move south and
  28. southeast.

  30. 6. High winds, storms and extensive flooding affecting the entire eastern
  31. seaboard this spring and summer...at least two hurricanes.  At least one
  32. hurricane comeing to Florida, numerous tropical stroms and an earthquake.
  33. A hurricane from the Gulf will affect the west coast of Florida, Louisiana,
  34. Mississippi and Texas. Other hurricanes to hit east coast of Fla. and
  35. move north.

  37. 7.South America will remain active volcanically.

  39. 8. Scanlon will be featured on tv program "Sightings", probably in March.
  40.  
  41. Scanlon writes: In March I see earth changes increasing in California.
  42. innundations from rain and storms caused by warming waters in the Pacific
  43. due to seabed volcanic activity.  Much of southern California's low coastal
  44. elevations will be affected.  Complete communities will be under water
  45. including Palm Springs in March April or May.  The areas in which I see
  46. precursor quake activity are Sonoma county north to Eureka and Bakersfield
  47. south to San diego.  Sonoma County and the area around Bakersfield are
  48. potential areas for mega or super-mega quakes, occurring anytime during
  49. this time persio...but no later than May 9th 1992.
