COMMENT:Very similar to <a href="/bib/162">Ignatius Donnelly's book</a> -- repeating much of the same `evidence' for Atlantis but lacking its eloquence and depth. The book, along with the introduction, is presented as a true account of Atlantis and the supposed `science' to back it up. Braghine touches briefly on clairvoyance and `revealed' knowledge but attempts to glean much of his evidence from history, geology, archaeology, anthropology, toponymy, paleontology, and even astronomy. Like Donnelly, Braghine takes Plato's account of Atlantis literally and from there attempts to explain the various civilizations since then via the knowledge available to him in the 1930's.
