  1. How Does The Song Go Installation:
  2. ----------------------------------

  4. Unzip howdo201.zip into a temporary directory (after installation,
  5.    this directory may be deleted).
  6.  
  7. Remove previous version of How Does The Song Go:
  8.  - delete directory (folder) c:\rtsoft\howdo, and
  9.  - remove program manager item (start menu shortcut) to 
  10.    How Does The Song Go.
  11.  
  12. Install:
  13.  - Point file manager (explorer) at the temporary directory, and
  14.  - double click on the setup item.
  15.       DO NOT use file-run (start-run) - the setup program has, under
  16.       certain conditions, been know to fail using run command.
  17.  
  18. By default, the setup program will:
  19.  - copy these files to your windows\system directory (folder)
  20.    if they do not exist:
  21.       mvapi2.dll
  22.       mvbmp2.dll
  23.       mvbrkr2.dll
  24.       mvfs2.dll
  25.       mvftsui2.dll
  26.       mvmci2.dll
  27.       mvsrch2.dll
  28.       mvtitle2.dll
  29.       mviewer2.exe
  30.       commdlg.dll    DO NOT remove these two files, if you remove HowDo
  31.       ctl3d.dll      and viewer (they may be used by other programs).
  32.  - create directory (folder) c:\rtsoft,
  33.  - place three files there: howdo.mvb, vwrhelp.mvb, and howdo.ico,
  34.  - create program manager group (start menu group) rtsoft,
  35.  - create program manager item (start menu shortcut) to howdo.mvb, and
  36.  - associate mviewer2.exe with .mvb files.
