  13. BETHESDA, MD -- July 16, 1996 -- Qualitas, Inc. announces plans to
  14. release a new Windows utility, Q.E.D., available in mid-August 1996.

  16. Qualitas Enhanced Display lets you get the most from your high
  17. resolution graphics by dramatically increasing the size of your
  18. Windows dialogs.  Dialogs are the small, fixed-sized windows that you
  19. canÆt resize the way you would a normal application window.  Examples
  20. of Windows dialogs can be seen when performing common tasks like
  21. opening or saving a file.

  24. Stanley, CEO.  "Unfortunately, the applications haven't changed to
  25. take advantage of these larger monitors running higher resolutions.

  29. Qualitas Q.E.D. is automatic -- install the program and your Windows
  30. common dialogs become taller and wider, maximizing the use the
  31. screen's size.  For those who like to tweak their systems, Q.E.D.
  32. includes a powerful Dialog Editor that lets you scale or change the
  33. layout of any applicationÆs dialogs to your own tastes.

  36. of Qualitas.  "I use a 17-inch monitor and run Windows 95.  However,
  37. every time I went to look for a file to run, the Browse dialog
  38. appeared so small on my monitor that only a few files were displayed.
  39. With Q.E.D., my dialog display is so large, I don't need to scroll to
  40. locate a file.    It's very handy."

  42. Q.E.D. automatically scales both 16-bit and 32-bit dialogs.  Also
  43. included in Q.E.D. is the TrayNote program that makes the Q.E.D.
  44. configuration tool, or any program, available from the Windows 95
  45. tray.
