  10. I. Program Description

  12. Thank you for evaluating BlackJack Professor. You will find that 
  13. it's the most powerful and easy to use blackjack learning tool in
  14. existence. An intuitive Windows interface lets you concentrate on 
  15. becoming a better blackjack player, rather than fussing with the 
  16. intricacies of a complicated computer program.

  18. The BlackJack Professor can teach you Basic Strategy, professional
  19. level systems, or your own strategy ideas. Here are some of the 
  20. features that the program offers:

  22.   - An on-line Help system
  23.   - User defined counts and betting   (Expert Version only)
  24.   - User configurable strategy tables (Expert Version only)
  25.   - An ace side-count
  26.   - Basic Strategy included
  27.   - Hi-Opt I strategy included (Expert Version only)
  28.   - LVC Point Count Strategy (designed using the Expert Version)
  29.   - Hundreds of rule variations
  30.   - Error warning for when playing mistakes are made
  31.   - Auto Deal (to run simulations, or practice card counting)
  32.   - A View Box (keep track of the count, money, cards left, etc..)

  34. To run BlackJack Professor, you will need a computer capable of 
  35. running the Microsoft Windows operating system.

  39. II. Installation Instructions
  40.  
  41. If you are installing the program from a floppy disk:
  42.   1) Using the Windows Program Manager:
  43.   2) Choose File, then Run
  44.   3) Type [X]:setup, then OK 
  45.      (X is the drive where the floppy disk is located)
  46.  
  47. If you downloaded the archived file 'BJ_PROF.ZIP' 
  48. from a bulliten board:  
  49.   - You will need PKUNZIP to unzip the files. 
  50.   - You will need the file VBRUN300.DLL for the program to run.
  51.     
  52.   1) Place BJ_PROF1.ZIP in a temporary directory and unzip it.
  53.   2) After the file is unarchived:
  54.   3) Using the Windows Program Manager:
  55.   4) Choose File, then Run
  56.   5) Type [X]\setup, then OK 
  57.      (X is the directory path where the files can be found)
