  7. What is EditPlus
  8. ----------------
  9. EditPlus is an Internet-ready 32-bit text editor, HTML editor and
  10. programmer's editor for Windows. While it can serve as a good
  11. replacement for Notepad, it also offers many powerful features for Web
  12. page authors and programmers.

  14. * Syntax highlighting for HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, Perl, C/C++, Java,
  15.   JavaScript and VBScript. Also, it can be extended for other
  16.   programming languages based on custom syntax files.

  18. * Seamless Web browser for previewing HTML pages, and FTP commands for
  19.   uploading local files to FTP server.

  21. * Other features include HTML toolbar, user tools, line number, ruler,
  22.   URL highlighting. auto-completion, cliptext, column selection,

  48. If you downloaded a self-extracting setup file (eppxx.exe), just run
  49. the executable. If you downloaded a zip file (eppxx.zip), extract it
  50. to a temporary directory, then execute SETUP_EP.EXE.
