A/UX is Apple’s version of UNIX for the Macintosh line of computers. Creating both A/UX and Macintosh partitions on a single drive allows you to run both Macintosh and A/UX from the same hard drive. A/UX partitions cannot be accessed directly from the Macintosh operating system.
The only operations that the the DriveManager can perform on A/UX partitions are to create and to delete them.
