As we leave Laredo and McAllen, Texas, we pray for all the souls that our Lord has allowed us to touch. Whether by seeing His RV'S, hearing about His mercy or reading His precious word quoted in the printed materials we distribute, we are only blessed to see the surface of God's glorious plan in a few of those souls.
Laredo has a no litter ordinance that prevented us from distributing on the sidewalks but the Holy Spirit drew many to the RV's open doors and when we pulled over for stop signs and traffic lights. It should not surprise us that when one door is closed the Lord opens another.
<br><br>
One possible believer stopped only long enough to try and correct our message. She said May 21 is not THE END; it is just THE BEGINNING of eternal life for the raptured. After a long day when some of the team was shopping for supplies, one of our RV's parked strategically near a busy gas station where one of the team started a conversation with a young mom with 3 little ones in her car. Starting with her angry outburst at a God who would do this, the Holy Spirit seemed to convict her upon hearing that man's sin is responsible for all the evil in the world and brought her to tears. We tried to provide some comfort that there is still time to seek God's mercy.
It took about 2 1/2 hours to get to McAllen Texas and just like God's new mercies every morning, the fresh green leaves of spring were more obvious. We also found no ordinances restricting our sidewalk tract passing even though private property like the RV Park usually doesn't allow it. That doesn't stop the Holy Spirit from drawing many at this large upscale facility to approach us and ask for information. We continue trusting the Lord to draw those he planned to notice the three moving RV billboards at the park and around town.
<br><br>
As we only pulled over to switch drivers, a car stopped with a family radio listener who we tried to contact earlier but was unable to reach by phone. The Lord brought us together and then led us to a very busy flea market where we passed out a great quantity of Spanish tracts with excellent reception. Working for hours in the 90 degree temperatures with high humidity did not slow our enthusiasm. As we drove our sister in Christ back to her brother's home later that day, we were invited in to share supper, fellowship, prayers and hymns with her father, brother, sister in law and daughter. It is getting more difficult to leave believers who we fellowship with and enjoy so much.
When we arrived in Brownsville, TX as the Lord would have it, we were met by a fellow listener. He was on a cross country trip from New Jersey to meet us and help pass out tracts. At first we just noticed an extremely happy guy waving from the van to our right. Those windows went down. We saw his large judgment day sign on his van. We all pulled over to share hugs as our family of like mind grew by one.
<br><br>
We soon went back to work passing out information to hundreds of people gathering near the border for the Charro Days Parade in downtown Brownsville. How gratifying it was to have so many hands reach out toward some of God's word that we distribute. One of our team members completely emptied his backpack of tracts. The parade finally ended and revealed very few tracts left behind. Our visiting fellow ambassador had never passed that many tracts before and was so excited to have been used by our Lord to direct people to the warning found in the Bible. That late night turned into two more very busy days since the parade was repeated the next afternoon as was a busy carnival and a flea market.
<br><br>
On our last day in Brownsville, on Sunday, we rented table space at a large indoor flea market that provided a nice break from the humidity outside. Some of our team members used up much of their supplies walking downtown through busy shopping streets and merchant counters. They spoke with a man with his teenage son from Mexico in his SUV who was very overwhelmed by all the evil in the world but appreciated our information. We had been warned to avoid being close to the border at night because of the stray bullets from gang members fighting. Even a university at the border was temporarily closed for that reason. Tract reception and retention continued at very high levels amongst most flea market merchants and most shoppers. Folks even approached us for information as we visited the parked RV's for supplies or food. One gentleman greeted us by the RV to say he was hoping to find us since the previous night's parade. He had questions and concerns and gladly received materials. As always, we direct folks to check out the evidence in the Bible, we tell them don't believe just a sign or a man. Believe the Word of God.

Three RV's and their six volunteers arrived in San Antonio on Tuesday. After driving around the central city a few times to look for the best RV and tract exposure, we headed to the RV Park to register.
<br><br>The Alamo, the River walk and the Cowboy Rodeo brought a lot of tourists to the area while police and security officers continually tried to restrict tract distribution on those sidewalks. One day the Lord allowed all the folks at the bus station and all the business folks at a small three floor mall to receive tracts before we were asked to stop. The downtown streets were warm quaint and narrow and brought us closer to the public while we circled them in our RV's. There was a town ordinance that discouraged tract distribution in that particular area. But that did not prevent the bold Judgment Day message and our three RV's repeat by grabbing attention.
<br><br>It is always a joy to meet local Family Radio listeners, especially when that listener is the one who suggested the Caravan concept idea. Imagine seeing a group of identical RV's stop to pick you up to assist in giving out tracts and it was the Holy Spirit inspired your suggestion just a few months before. Yes, a dream come true and as Caravan members, we have been blessed to share the Lord's words of warning the public, armed with the sword of truth. It is not easy saying goodbye to our local listeners whom we've had great God-glorifying fellowship with.
<br><br>Since we were strangers just weeks ago, we are still coming together with such different talents, determination and a very strong single mindedness. Surely this is the work of God. Sunday evening, we gathered in the laundry room, which was attached to the park and sung with Family Radio Hymn Sing followed by the Lord's Day Study. One can see our bond strengthen as we praised the Lord together.
<br><br>Traveling in unfamiliar towns can often lead to a missed turn or misdirection. Our team now looks to see God's Hand in all such situations. Late one night, after having all RV's oil changed, it became very dark which led us into a few wrong turns. Was the wrong turn for one late jogger running on a long dark & lonely road, or was it for the folks that came to our RV's for more information while we were filling up at the gas station?
<br><br>Driving through many commercial and residential neighborhoods, the Lord called many to reach out to our open doors. We humbly sent them away with tracts, booklets and even Bibles if they didn't own one. One such young man was leaving a grocery store with his wife and two little ones. It will be hard to forget his sincere appreciation as he added, "I have messed up my life and I don't want that to happen to my children".
<br><br>We continue to pray for all those we encounter that they may be amongst those whose name is written in the Book of Life. Lord, have mercy on us all.<br><br><b>Sincerely,<br>

<br>As Project Caravan #2 core team of 3 RVs and 6 volunteers' moves fromáArlingtonátoáWaco, Austin and now to San Antonio,áTexas,áwe can see theáhand of Godáworking more clearly in our daily experiences. Seeing heads turn, lips moving as folks read, eyes staring and cameras clicking as the moving RV/billboards blow the trumpet of the watchman move through the streets. The public may react with a forced smile, a laugh or a jeer but most react respectfully and even approach the vehicles when stopped for information. Sending out tract distribution teams of 2 or 3 into crowds leaves the rest of the caravanáto circle areas of activity such as busy campuses like Waco's Baylor U. and U of Texas at Austin and busy urban centers. The RV's Judgment Day message with the tracts is a perfect combination which reaches far more folks. Even though Waco provided those good opportunities to share The Lords warning and the Gospel, I believe the fellowship we had with an isolated local family of five Family Radioáinternet listeners, was also part of Gods plan there.
<br><br>After the high visibility drive aroundáAustin, TXáand an outdoor market tract visit we headed back to the RV's. However; a Russian speaking man didn't take our tract until one of us spoke in theáPolish languageáwhich he could slightly understand. He then took the information for his daughter to interpret for him. A family of Family Radio listeners from 5 hours away called us shortly after we arrived to let us know that a 50,000 strong Longhorn college basketball game would finish soon giving us moments to get there. Discouraged by heavy traffic and detours we arrived just as the flood gates were opening. Our 30 minute opportunity to distribute tracts and get maximum RV visibility was guided byáGod's perfect timingáand direction. Every time we circled the busiest exits, a police traffic director would stop the RV to allow a flood of fans to cross the street surrounding the RV with thousands of curious eyes. Several fans even chose to fight the flow of exiting fans just to grab a tract they wanted.
<br><br>OnáSunday morning, the 3 RV's were on a display driving search for crowds of peopleáwhen we went into a dead end and into a jammed high school parking lot to make a U-turn. Apparently aálocal community church serviceáat the school finished at that exact moment. Well over a thousand folks, many with Bibles surrounded us in no time with amazed expressions. (God's perfect timing) Elsewhere tracts were carried by the wind well out of our reach in opposite directions (even beneath a car) only to let us see they wereácarefully picked up by someone, scanned over and put away for later study. The Lords work is perfect.
<br><br>Some mornings it seems like we just can't handle all the RV maintenance and packing fast enough and that happened Monday, our last day in Austin. Evenáreaching our target student and business lunch crowds wasn't very exciting so we eventually stopped to make lunch. Even then we were asked to move the vehicles until we found a safe curbside spot on our third try. A well-read gentleman engaged us in lots of questions which we tried to answer while others ate, after spending way too much time with him on what we felt was a not very productive morning we gave him a new Bible, tracts and books. The look of sadness in his eyes did soften the more time we spent with him. Later that night I was told by another team member that before approaching us, he had his fill of this world and was about to attempt suicide and considered taking others with him. Thank you Lord for your perfect timing and your direction. As we pray for that man, we are ever more aware of OUR LORD'S gracious and loving guidance. Thank you to all who have made this amazing opportunity possible.
