  3. Preliminary hypocenters of aftershocks of the Hyogoken-Nanbu earthquake.

  10. We now open our preliminary results, which were determined by our
  11. automatic hypocenter location system here for aftershocks of the
  12. Hyogoken-Nanbu earthquake, to the public.
  13.  
  14. These preliminary hypocenters are based on the seismic networks of
  15. Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University,
  16. Wakayama Observatory, Earthquake Research Institute, University
  17. of Tokyo, and School of Science, Nagoya University.

  25. (2) When you will publish or distribute any results derived from
  26.     the hypocenters, please acknowledge that these hypocenters were
  27.     determined by the automatic hypocenter location system at the
  28.     Abuyama Observatory, Disaster Prevention Research Institute,
  29.     Kyoto University based on the seismic networks of Disaster
  30.     Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University, Wakayama
  31.     Observatory, Earthquake Research Institute, University of Tokyo,
  32.     and School of Science, Nagoya University.

  34. (3) As the main system had been broken by the main shock, the hypo-
  35.     centers were determined by the spare system with no careful
  36.     tuning.  So some of them are not highly precise.

  38. (4) Please include this README file when you will redistribute
  39.     our results.

  44. Although the data format is different between hypocenters before and
  45. after 4:57 AM, Jan. 20, 1995 (JST), they can be read by a program
  46. like the following FORTRAN one:
