[ This is NetHack 3.0 patchlevel 10 for the Amiga.
This distribution consists of two disks --
Disk one contains the NetHack executable and an icon.
Disk two contains all the support files.
Both disks are needed for game play.
This group of postings consists of disk one.
Disk two will follow shortly. ...tad ]
[ From the ReadMe of Disk 2: ]
The C source (more than two megabytes of it!) for NetHack for the Amiga,
Macintosh, Atari ST, IBM PC, DEC VMS, and both BSD and SYSV UNIX is
archived on, and freely available from, the machine UUNET.UU.NET.
Requirements
------------
Amiga 500,1000,2000,2500 running WorkBench 1.3 and KickStart 1.2 or 1.3.
Amiga 3000 running WorkBench 1.3 or 2.0.
one meg of RAM and one floppy drive (painful, but functional)
or one meg of RAM and two floppy drives (much better)
or more than one meg of RAM and a hard disk with 2+ meg free (best)
Installation
------------
The binary distribution of NetHack 3.0, Patchlevel 10, is contained in
two zoo files:
disk01.zoo the main binary and its icon
disk02.zoo support files, installation instructions (ReadMe)
Use the following commands to unpack the distribution:
zoo x// disk01.zoo
zoo x// disk02.zoo
(where you do this will depend on your configuration: on a floppy system
each archive should be unpacked on its own disk:
disk01.zoo should be unpacked on HackExe:
disk02.zoo should be unpacked on NetHack:
On a harddisk system, unpack both archives, then follow the directions
in the ReadMe file)
Share and Enjoy!
