  4.                  Bug fix and changes from MegaD V1.0 to MegaD V1.01
  5.                        --------------------------------------
  6.  
  7.           1.   A bug with Auto Boot and user defined menu commands has been
  8.                fixed.  If MegaD executed an external program such as a file
  9.                viewer and that program required an input channel from the
  10.                keyboard, that channel was not provided.  It would just skip
  11.                past the input and sometimes confuse the executed program. 
  12.                Sometimes it would crash the system.  Also if the program
  13.                needed an Output channel and MegaD was run from the
  14.                Workbench, no output channel was provided, this was a
  15.                guaranteed CRASH or lockup of MegaD and the executed
  16.                program.  The visible changes that you will see is that in
  17.                Add Auto Boot and Edit Auto Boot will refer to a possible
  18.                Input channel or not. If you choose not to have an Input
  19.                channel the you will still have a small CON: window open for
  20.                display of text on Auto Boot options.  If an Input channel
  21.                is to be provided you will have a Full size CON: window open
  22.                for display of output and a way to type input to the
  23.                executed program.
  24.                     NOTE: this bug is the main reason that this update is
  25.                     so soon after the original release and that there are
  26.                     so few changes to the program.

  28.           2.   Directory windows will try to re-size if items are added to
  29.                or removed from the Directory.

  31.           3.   The memory display section of the main window is now updated
  32.                about every 5 seconds if one of the MegaD windows are
  33.                active.

  35.                                      Known BUGS!
  36.                                  -------------------
  37.           1.   If MegaD is booted from the Workbench and UnPack is used,
  38.                MegaD will not be able to change the current directory for
  39.                the executed archiver.  The unarch files will be sent to the
  40.                Root device.  The Root device is usually the drive that the
  41.                Amiga system was booted from.  The problem does not exist
  42.                if MegaD is started from the CLI.  
  43.                     NOTE: If any of you reading this know how to correct
  44.                     this problem please send me a letter describing how to
  45.                     change the current directory for programs Executed()
  46.                     from a program that was started from the Workbench: 
  47.                     About the only thing that I can offer for this is a
  48.                     registered version of MegaD.
  49.  
  50.                            Planed changes and improvements
  51.                          ----------------------------------
  52.  
  53.           1.   Have Auto Boot recognize extensions found in the Set
  54.                Defaults Menu Sets and execute the proper command if found. 
  55.                What this would do is if an .LZH extension is found after
  56.                double clicking a file .LZH  MegaD will execute the Menu Set
  57.                command that has been designated to be executed under this
  58.                condition.  You will be able to tell it to use one of the
  59.                Menu Set commands which are Pack, UnPack, List, Command 1 or
  60.                Command 2 under this condition.

  62.           2.   Once I find out how, if MegaD is started from the Workbench,
  63.                MegaD will define the current directory for executed
  64.                programs from Auto Boot or the Menu Sets to be defined the
  65.                same as the active directory on the MegaD screen. This is
  66.                not a problem if started from the CLI.
  67.  
  68.           3.   Add a global filter to work on all windows. This will work
  69.                the same as the filters available for single window except
  70.                that you will be able to filter out a type of file from all
  71.                windows in MegaD.
  72.  
  73.           4.   In the Copy/Format Disk option, it will have an option to
  74.                actually read the full disk into memory and then make all
  75.                available drives open to become destination drives.  This
  76.                will be for mass production of disks such as a users group
  77.                librarian that needs to duplicate the Fred Fish disk for the
  78.                month.  The Librarian could read the one disk into memory.
  79.                and then if there are four drives available she could write
  80.                that disk to all four time after time until all disk have
  81.                be created.  The disk copy on MegaD does virtually nothing
  82.                to make the Amiga Trackdisk device work faster than it does
  83.                in normal mode.  This make it about the same speed as your
  84.                Workbench Disk Copy command.  But in this instant you could
  85.                save about a quarter of the time being the disk only needs
  86.                to be read once and all drives can be become destination
  87.                drives.  If only one drive is available and duplicate copies
  88.                are needed the time savings will be even greater.
