"Fitted with the Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder (LLDR) the M966 TOW-2 is very effective at finding armored targets and killing them. The TOW-2 system is mounted to the roof of the highly mobile, standard M966 HMMWV along with a M240 7.62 mm machine gun. The TOW-2 has a maximum effective range of 3,750 meters. The HMMWV has a hybrid electric/turbo diesel engine that enables the vehicle to accelerate to 80 km per hour in 7 seconds. Maximum speed is 135 km per hour with fuel efficiency doubled. When operating in electric mode it is quiet, cool, and emits no exhaust."
