  14.  This specific Trainer,the Trainer engine designed by me,all the coding and
  15. beta testing and user support are alot of hard work.It takes time and effort
  16. (not to mention $$$) to do all this and make these kinds of products available
  17. to users.If you use this product and enjoy it then Register it.Without user
  18. support Shareware Authors give up,go broke,go COMMERICAL (OH NO NOT THAT!),
  19. get divorced,start poking through trash barrels at the mall,gain weight,go bald
  20. ,get dandruff,have all their teeth fall out and all other forms of nasty things
  21. like that.The game costs alot.Hint Books and Hint Lines cost more.I am asking
  22. for your Support.Please read the REGISTER.NFO file.If you do not wish to
  23. Register this product within a week of use then please Delete it.

  26. pauses and messages.Also Registered users are entiltled to any updates or
  27. bug fixes (JUST send a blank disk and S.A.S.E to me).And of course you will

  34.                                  THE TRAINER :
  35.  
  36.  What is a Trainer?It's an Interactive Utility that "Hides" in memory and
  37. allows you to get the "Upper Hand" in those often too-Tough Games.It may
  38. even,in some cases,make the game more challenging for you "True" gameplayers.
  39. In either case it is my hope to enhance the Enjoyment of playing these games
  40. through the use of my utilities.
  41.  
  42.  The Trainer (Either Loader-TSR or TSR) loads itself into memory and interfaces
  43. itself into the Game Code.Once the game is running you can access the Trainer
  44. via "Hot-Key" Trainer Functions that will alter the Game Data/Code in memory
  45. as it is running.These functions allow you to alter the "Rules" of the game to
  46. ,hopefully,allow you to enjoy it even more.

  52.                                HOW TO : (TRAINER)
  53.  
  54.   Unzip your Trainer into your Terminator Rampage game directory using PKZIP
  55.  V1.1 or higher.Once you are in the RAMPAGE directory you can type TERM or
  56.  RAMPAGE to start the Trainer and game.You will see a Trainer opening screen
  57.  followed by another screen that shows you all of the available functions
  58.  for this game.After that the Trainer will load RAMPAGE for you.
  59.  
  60.   Once in the game you can press the ACCENT key (`) to bring up a Trainer Hot
  61.  Screen that lists all of the available Trainer Keys and Toggles.The Trainer
  62.  functions are only available during actual gameplay not from any of the game
  63.  menus.

  66.      During the game use the following Key Combinations to your advantage :

  69.    (Note : When the word GREY is used it is used to describe the GREY Colored
  70.   keys (on most systems) such as the keys around the Number Pad and keys like
  71.                    CAPSLOCK,PAUSE,SCROLL LOCK,HOME,END etc.)

  73. ACCENT (`) - Press this key to bring up the Trainer Hot Screen.This screen will
  74.              display all of the available Trainer Keys along with all the
  75.              Trainer Toggle Keys and their status (ON is HIGHLIGHTED/OFF is not
  76.              ).With the UP and DOWN arrow keys you can select any of the
  77.              Toggle functions to turn ON or OFF from this screen.Simply press
  78.              RETURN to select one of the Toggle functions.

  80. 1          - Press this key and you will get ALL of the Weapons in the game
  81.              including the ever fun V-TEC (so much for looking for all those
  82.              stupid parts)!You can then select from your new arsenal using
  83.              the F1 thru F8 keys.You really only need to use this once.But if
  84.              you are paranoid and use it again you may notice some stange side
  85.              effects!

  87. 2          - Press your finger upon this key and you will get 1000 Ammo,Shotgun
  88.              Shells,Scatter Grenades,Concussion Grenades and Hi Explosive
  89.              Grenades.You can use this as often as you need to.
  90.  
  91. 3          - When you hit this key you will have your current Health and Armor
  92.              levels restored back to Maximum.Use it as needed.
  93.  
  94. 4          - Press this key to bump the current Heat/Power level of the V-TEC
  95.              back to Maximum.
  96.  
  97. 5          - When you press this key you will have the Access Card so you can
  98.              use the elevator on the current level.You will have to press this
  99.              at least once on each level since you lose the card after you go
  100.              down to another level.
  101.  
  102. CAPS LOCK  - Press this key once to Toggle ON the Unlimited Ammo Mode.While
  103.              this mode is ON your Ammo,Genades,Shotgun Shells amount(s) will
  104.              NOT decrease.Press this key once more to Toggle this function OFF.
  105.  
  106. SCROLL LOCK- Press this key once to Toggle ON the Unlimited Health and Armor
  107.              Mode.Actually it is more of an Invunerable Mode since you cannot
  108.              be harmed.Period.Press this key again to Toggle this function OFF.
  109.  
  110. NUM LOCK   - Press this key once to Toggle ON the Unlimited V-TEC Power Mode.
  111.              When this Mode is ON the Heat Level/Power of the V-TEC won't
  112.              go down.You can continue firing as long as you like without having
  113.              to wait for the recharge.

  116.                                     NOTES :
  117.  
  118.  The Trainer Hot Screen (ACCENT (`)) requires that you have 64k disk space in
  119. the directory that the Trainer is located.This is used for a temporary swap
  120. file (NWT.XXX) to save the game screen.You will really never notice it because
  121. the Trainer deletes this file when it returns to DOS.If for some reason you
  122. lose power,reboot this system or do something else that does not mean a NORMAL
  123. exit from the game and Trainer that file will still be in your directory.It can
  124. be deleted or you can wait till you Trainer again because the Trainer will get
  125. rid of it for you.

  131.                            OTHER TRAINER FUNCTIONS :

  133.  To manipulate the Keybeep the PC Speaker makes on Trainer Functions :

  135.             F11 - Press F11 for a Higher pitched keypress feedback.
  136.  
  137.              F12 - Press F12 for a Lower pitched keypress feedback.
  138.  
  139.    APOSTROPHE (') - Toggle ON/OFF the keypress feedback from the PC Speaker.

  141.  Press these keys any time or as many times as needed to get the desired
  142. effect.Also note that for Trainer functions that Toggle ON/OFF the ON keypress
  143. will always be a LOW pitch then a HIGHER pitched tone and the OFF will be
  144. the reverse (a HIGH pitched tone with and immediate LOWER pitched tone).
