  1. HOW TO USE THE ZIP FILE
  2.  
  3. 1) Copy all 5 saved game files into your PANDORA\GAMES\ subdirectory.
  4. 2) Start the game in the usual manner.
  5. 3) Open the AUXILLIARY panel.
  6. 4) Select NEW GAME. Enter Player name: HERC. Select GAME PLAYER Level.
  7. 5) Exit game and restart.
  8. 6) Open the AUXILLIARY panel and select LOAD GAME.
  9. 7) Choose player HERC and you should see the 5 saved games in the load game
  10.    slots.
  11. 8) Each save starts in the Ascension Chamber. USE the FRAGMENT on the lit
  12.    pedestal in front of you to begin the endgame sequence.

  14. DESCRIPTION OF THE SAVED GAMES
  15.  
  16. HERC__00.001 -- This is the Mission Street ending.
  17. HERC__00.002 -- This is one Lombard Street ending.
  18. HERC__00.003 -- This is the other Lombard Street ending.
  19. HERC__00.004 -- This save leads to 3 Broken Dream Boulevard endings. At one
  20.                 point in the game, you are asked to select one of three choices.
  21.                 Each choice leads to a different ending.
  22. HERC__00.005 -- This save leads to the 4th Broken Dream Boulevard ending. Once
  23.                 again, at the same point in the game, you are asked to make a
  24.                 choice. Selecting "DROP GUN" in this save takes you to the
  25.                 4th Broken Dream Boulevard ending.

  29. * If the ending summaries are correct, then there should have been 2
  30.   Mission Street endings, 2 Lombard Street endings and 4 Broken Dream Boulevard
  31.   endings, for a total of 8, not 7 as mentioned numerous times by Access. But
  32.   tried as I might, I could only come up with _one_ Mission Street ending.

  34. * To get to Mission Street, one must be gentle and faithful to Chelsee. Return
  35.   Nilo's wallet and the orphan money and pay back Louie early in the game. Save
  36.   Archie from Cross and refuse Regan's advances.

  38. * It's interesting to play Tex as a cunning, rude, selfish and amoral kind of
  39.   character. There are quite a few changes in the plot from the Mission Street
  40.   path, some obvious and drastic, others subtle. Several cut scenes appear only
  41.   in this path and not the Mission Street path. These saved games only show you
  42.   the various endings, but do not give you a sense of all the changes in the
  43.   plot.
