  1.    This program will modify all of your save game files for
  2. Bio Menace 1 (by Apogee) so that you will have 25 lives and 
  3. 100 health points (health points are only added after the first 
  4. level as the game defaults to 4 on the first level).
  5.    If you don't like to start over a million times and just want to 
  6. have some fun with this fairly decent new game, cheat!
  7.    I recommend that you save copies of all your game save files
  8. (they are named SAVEGAM?.BM1 where "?" is a number from 0 to 5)
  9. before running this program in case you want to play as a mortal
  10. again!
  11.    Place the BIO1CHT.EXE file in the same directory as the save
  12. files and enter BIO1CHT to modify the files.

  14. DETAILS:
  15.    This program works by changing byte 4Fh (79 decimal) to 19h (25 decimal)
  16. for lives and byte 51h (81 decimal) to 64h (100 decimal) for health points.
  17.    If you are handy with a hex editor, you can advance levels by increasing
  18. the value stored in byte 31h (49 decimal). 
  19.    You can also play around with the other bytes as there does not appear
  20. to be a checksum involved.

  22. PLEASE NOTE:
  23.    If you should happen to accumulate more than 128 health points, you will
  24. be dead meat! (well, dead bones actually)
