  9. In Ultima 8, the debug mode exists but not accessable without some 
  10. DEBUGing or using external programs that debug for you.  Here's how:
  11.  
  12. Using a text editor create a file called avatar.deb in the
  13. \ULTIMA8\GAMEDAT directory with the following text:

  15. E 12A
  16. 01 01
  17. W
  18. Q
  19.  
  20. then save the file and at the DOS prompt type:
  21.  
  22. CD \ULTIMA8\GAMEDAT
  23. DEBUG AVATAR.DAT < AVATAR.DEB
  24.  
  25. Run U8 and immediately save your game.  Use F7 and CTRL-F1 to enter
  26. cheat commands.
