  5. The following cheats were discovered and tested on the Shareware 
  6. Version, but I should think they will work on both Registered and
  7. UnRegistered Versions.

  10. ~Command Line Cheat
  11.  
  12. Start the game with one of the folloeing options :-
  13.  
  14. RIPTIDE -START x           : Where x is the starting level
  15. RIPTIDE -MANDICH           : Runs the game with debug mode enabled
  16.  
  17.  
  18. With DEBUG MODE enabled you can use the following keys :-
  19.  
  20. P - Dumps screenshot to a file called RIPTIDE.PCX
  21. Z - Exits level and takes you to the next (giving you the level code)
  22.  
  23. Press ESC to see the menu and you'll have a new menu option called
  24. DEBUG which has various options on it.
  25.  
  26. F2 & F3 also have some effect but the outcome is unsure !

  30. ~Edit Cheat

  33. Edit the RIPTIDE.EXE file and change the desired offsets to alter
  34. the way you play :-

  36. $9896 - Amount of Air (normally set to $95)
  37.  
  38. $6A54 - Shield Strength (normally set to $3C)
  39.  
  40. $65EE - Number Of Lives (normally set to 2)
  41.  
  42.  
  43. At $98AD to 90909090 - For Infinite Air Supply
  44.  
  45. At $9A36 to 90909090 - For Infinite Shields
  46.  
  47. At $780E to 90909090 - For Infinite Lives
  48.  
  49. At $A39B to 9090 - For Infinite Usage Of Jason Sub
