  12. EASY FACTOR ANALYSIS is an program that was written
  13. to allow even computer neophytes to perform two common
  14. types of factor analysis: principal components analysis
  15. and image covariance factor analysis.

  19. The program provides several features such as stopping
  20. criteria based on the total number of factors or minimum
  21. eigenvalue, a varimax rotation, the printing of correlation
  22. matrix, eigenvalue table, factor patterns, weights and scores
  23. for both rotated and unrotated solutions, etc.

  27. A new version of EASY FACTOR ANALYSIS v3.0 is scheduled to
  28. be released in Summer '95.  This new version will be fully
  29. integrated with SIMSTAT and accessible from the Addins menu.
  30. Easy Factor Analysis v3.0 will also be very easy to use with
  31. option panels, mouse support and a context sensitive help.

  36. SIMSTAT's command language and use the RECORD SCRIPT function
  37. to easily generate proper commands corresponding to actions
  38. undertaken with the interactive user's interface.
