  1. The austenitic stainless steels are finding increased use for
  2. structural applications.  This is due in large part to the inherent
  3. corrosion resistance in the present day environment which, in turn,
  4. means reduced maintenance cost and continued good appearance for
  5. the life of the structure.

  9. and cold-rolled stainless steel as applied to load carrying
  10. structures.  Also the 1991 publication ANSI/ASCE-8-90
  11. "Specification for the Design of Cold-Formed Stainless Steel
  12. Structure Members" presents current design parameters for the use
  13. of stainless steel in structural applications.
