ocr: Waimea (also called Kamuela) is the Big Island's ranch country and the home of the chormous Parker Ranch, ounded in 1847. The ranch's Visitor Center has a good nuseum and the two adjacent historic homes are also open to the public. The muscurnl includes Parker family and ranch memorabilia, aswell as Hawaiian artifacts.
