ocr: Native coots, Koloa ducks, stilts, gallinules, and other nigratory wateriowl patrol the wetlands and taro fields pordering the Hanalei River and Huleia Stream. Occasionally, pueo (Hawaiian owls) can be seen hunting by dawn or twilight. Laysan albatross and frigate birds find shelter at a bird sanctuary near Kilauea Lighthouse.
