ocr: umahai, immortalized in the movie South Pacific as the place where Mitzi Gaynor washed her hair, is a small beach on Waikoko Bay on the North Shore of Kauai. It has golden sand and a wall of black lava that stretches to the sea. Swimming is not recommended at umahai, except in summer.
