ocr: A short walk from Haena State Park and Kee Beach are two heiaus, or sacred places: Kaulu Paoa Heiau and Kaulu O Laka Heiau. The goddess Pele is said to have danced here, and the heiaus are considered the pirthplace of hula. The spectacular setting is at the base of the steep cliffs where the Na Pali Coast begins.
