ocr: There are three primitive campgrounds along this rugged 11-mile trail. The first, Hanakapiai, is an hour from the trailhead and features perhaps the most mpressive views of the trip. The next camp, Hanakoa, is four miles and a series of strenuous switchbacks later. Five more scenic miles takes you to Kalalau with its ivory sands and waterfalls.
