  21. 1. VISCII 1.1 compatible
  22. 2. 4 TrueType fonts (made possible by Trichlor group)
  23. 3. Instant access to VIQR mode thru toolbar button
  24. 4. Customizable "Quoted-Readable" - read: add your own key compositions
  25.    such as  a^~ = a~^ = aa~ = etc....
  26. 5. Create, save and load your own key composition tables
  27. 6. Toolbar for easy access to main functions
  28. 7. Clipboard conversion mode allows cut/paste Viet-Net documents.

  37. VietVu 2.0 can be found on Sonygate.sony.com FTP site
  38. in directory \tin\VN\DOS\WINDOWS

  41. How to install VietVu 2.0
  42. -------------------------
  43. 1. copy vietvu20.zip to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
  44. Pkunzip vietvu20.zip file from the DOS prompt.
  45. 2. run Windows then select to run SETUP.EXE from Windows' Program
  46. Manager. (make sure it's the setup.exe from this temp directory).
  47. 3. follow screen directions.

  49. DO NOT install VietVu onto the same temporary directory where you
  50. ran setup from.

  53. How to prepare VietVu 2.0 setup diskette
  54. ----------------------------------------
  55. 1. Prepare one floppy diskette (1.2M:5.25", 720K:3.5" or
  56.    1.44M:3.5")
  57. 2. Format and label it as "Program" (this is important for
  58.    setup to work)
  59. 3. Run the following command from the DOS prompt (you must
  60.    have pkunzip tool)
  61.    pkunzip vietvu20.zip a:\
  62. 4. Run Microsoft Windows 3.1
  63. 5. From Windows Program Manager, select menu "File" then
  64.    choose menu item "Run"
  65. 6. Enter "a:setup" in the command line of the Run dialogbox
  66. 7. Follow screen instructions.
