  1. Test Writer 2.0    Copyright 1992 by R. R. Merritt

  3. This is a list of new features and enchancements that I have made in
  4. Test Writer 2.0.
  5.  
  6. - New line length control lets you print up to 120 characters on
  7.   single line (instead of 60 as before) using condensed print.
  8.   People with wide carriage or laser printers can print up to 240
  9.   character per line. This can reduce the number of pages for an
  10.   average test by at least 30%.
  11.  
  12. - Short Multiple choice answers will print several to a line to
  13.   save space.
  14.  
  15. - Prints the title of each section (can be turned on or off)
  16.  
  17. - Delete will allow you to delete multiple questions at once
  18.  
  19. - The Print Options for each test can be saved.
  20.  
  21. - The question display box shows the question number next to each
  22.   question.
  23.  
  24. - Text in quesitions (and answers) can be printed using bold face,
  25.   underline, italics, or any other special attribute that your
  26.   printer supports.
  27.  
  28. - You can cut and paste text from one part of a question to another.
  29.  
  30. - The action bars (menus) have a more "standard" look and feel.
  31.  
  32. - Help has an index feature.
  33.  
  34. - You can copy your test into a new name using the SAVE AS feature.
  35.  
  36. - Test names can't contain blanks.
  37.  
  38. Future versions: Unless there is a strong demand, this will probably
  39. be the last DOS based version. However, there will be a Windows
  40. version. I expect it to be available by late 1993. If you are
